Noblewood is a small breeding kennel dedicated to breeding quality old style German Shepherd dogs.  We are located in the town of Poughkeepsie, NY.  Our kennel specializes in white German Shepherds but we do not limit ourselves to just the white coat color. Our breeding program takes into consideration that most of the puppies that are born will go into pet homes.  With that consideration in mind, temperment is of great importance.  Quality in structure, type, and health are of equal importance and are, therefore, of high priority.  

    At most, we only breed one litter a year and are very selective about the stud dogs we choose for our girls. The males must have all of the same health clearances that we have performed on our girls.  Our girls are OFA certified for Hips, and Elbows and we do the very best we can to ensure the health of your puppy by screening the parents against all possible genetic disorders.  Our German Shepherds are loving family members who are capable of being working dogs.  All our dogs are trained for either the confirmation or obedience ring.  Our German Shepherds are truly a joy to be around!
